Zapalac/Reed Construction Company is a diverse commercial general contractor/construction management firm providing services that are equipped to fulfill the entire product delivery spectrum required by the construction industry. Since 1996, the Zapalac/Reed workforce has provided services well beyond the norm of the industry. Our efforts produce QUALITY, VALUE, TIMELINESS and LEADERSHIP for any construction project.
Zapalac/Reed is a construction firm founded in Austin, Texas by Bill Zapalac and Gene Reed in 1996. Our organization is a derivative of E.E. Reed Construction, which began operation in 1977 in Houston, Texas, and in the Austin area in 1980. Our staff has a combined experience of over 700 years working in 14 different states.
Our mission is to provide superior construction services that will satisfy every client’s expectations through our use of communication, ‘on time’ performance and production of quality.
Team
Zapalac/Reed practices a simple but effective management philosophy. It is based on a single-source responsibility plan that is applied to all stages of the project. Each project is led by a vice-president acting as a senior project manager who will be involved in the project from "beginning to end."
Our goal is to achieve high QUALITY without compromising the schedule or eroding the schedule. A project manager and superintendent will be assigned to each project supplemented by an area superintendent(s), assistant superintendent(s), and project engineer(s) depending on the complexity of the project.
